One of my all time favourites! Very simple and really tasty! The sesame oil is very important as it gives the dish a lot of its flavour, I wouldn't reccomend changing it for anything else.
A delicious chicken and corn dish. Chicken is marinated, then stir-fried and simmered in a cream-style corn base. It's wonderful as it is, but if you prefer a thicker sauce, add a little cornflour and water towards the end.
This Chicken in black bean sauce is a classic Chinese recipe, one of my favourites. This is quite simple to prepare once you have all of the ingredients. Serve with plain steamed rice for a great meal.
A quick and easy chicken dish, which is packed full of flavour. Chicken breasts are stir-fried with freshly ground peppercorns, ground coriander, lemon juice and cashew nuts. Enjoy with rice or whatever you fancy.
Stir-frying is a great way to increase the amount of veggies you eat.
Tempt your family with this healthy and filling pasta salad. Quick to prepare, it makes an ideal midweek supper and won't spoil if someone is late home. Tossing the pasta with lemon juice and white wine not only adds flavour but also means that the quantity of oil can be reduced, so saving on fat.
An Indonesian-style stir-fry combining colourful crunchy vegetables and tender chicken strips. Serve with toasted white, wholemeal or sesame pitta bread.
An Indonesian Chinese stir-fry meal. All that you want in a meal. Delicious, fast, healthy, low calorie and impressive. Serve it hot over white rice.
This is a native Philippine dish that is really gorgeous! I've adapted it slightly just to thicken the sauce. Serve on a bed of rice. Once you have tried it as below, try substituting the water for a can of coconut milk.
The coconut and the spices complement each other beautifully. An easy dish that goes well over noodles, rice or pasta.
