This was my gran's apple pie recipe. I have never seen another apple pie quite like it. It will always be my favourite and has won me several first place prizes in local competitions. I hope this pie becomes one of your favourites as well!
This lemon tart is a lovely conclusion to an elegant dinner! I garnish slices with cream, a strawberry fan and a sprig of mint.
This is my mum's recipe. I cheat, however, and use shop-bought shortcrust pastry. You can also use this filling for rhubarb turnovers using puff pastry.
My daughter picked a load of blackberries so we had the perfect excuse to make a blackberry pie - the end of summer doesn't taste any better than this! The berries do release alot of juice but I didn't hear any complaints!
Sliced strawberries are coated with a strawberry jam glaze, arranged on a digestive biscuit base, chilled and served with whipped cream. A lovely summer barbecue or picnic dessert that children simply adore.
