The easiest banana cake to make, just right for using up those very ripe bananas in the fruit bowl! I make this one in a loaf tin then you can cut slices and butter them for an after school treat.

Ideal for using up bananas that you've kept for a bit too long. Really yummy :-)

This is an extremely easy banana cake recipe. I always use a flat rectangular baking tray for this banana cake so it bakes through, but I bet you can use the loaf tin too and it would come out beautifully. This banana cake serves a legion of hungry flatmates and co-workers for 2 days but then you'll have to bake a new one.

A fantastic quick bread, which makes use of over-ripe bananas. Its incredibly moist, fruity and utterly delicious. Enjoy for afternoon tea, elevenses or pop into packed lunches.

We're very big on breakfasts in the Things at Home office. This weekend, we knocked up these quick, tasty (if a bit naughty) breakfast muffins and we just had to share the recipe! They're brilliant if you have to rustle up a last minute morning treat for house guests. If you prefer an even sweeter breakfast hit, check out our Five Minute Chocolate Breakfast Muffins instead!

This is a super-moist banana cake, which is very simple to make. For the best flavour, use over-ripe bananas that are almost fully black. Enjoy as a treat, snack or for afternoon tea.

Lovely recipe for banana bread. I have also used dried apricots for the sultanas. Leave until cold, or better still, the next day. Enjoy with a cup of tea!

This simple healthy banana cake is good for everyone! Especially nice for someone who wants a low fat, tasty and healthy cake for afternoon tea. It contains dried papaya fruit, so it does all the good for you.
